Ihtla - The Serpent's Kiss

Ihtla Ydriss is a cunning and well versed agent that has one goal in mind; become the most trusted adviser in her targets court and gain any and all useful information she can. Accomplishing this allows her to either sell, blackmail, or just enjoy leaking the information slowly and watch the court crumble in favor of the highest bidder.

Background - Ihtla has been a member of what is known in common as the Serpents' Kiss, a faction of espionage agents and information brokers that specialize in infiltration and collecting secrets.

It's not unheard of for high ranking officials to hire or invite known members of the Serpents' Kiss and host several large events to have their employed hunt and gather information to better fuel whatever campaign their host is wanting to pursue.

However, Ihtla and her allies don't work for free, and will sometimes hold the most valuable information for themselves to sell of as leverage against any who would try to bully their way into getting more information. Anyone who hires these members are to expect one thing; Whomever they hired, they know more dirty secrets about them than their enemies.

I've always enjoyed the idea of a Whispers Bard, but they do require a heavy role play campaign and a very dedicated party and DM to really make them shine. Which sounds pretty normal if you have a bard in the group, but this is a College of Whispers Bard, and that means they deal damage, and a ton of it. However, they loose those party buffs Bards are known for. But hey! That's why D&D is so fun! You play what you want.

For those of you who have a keen eye, you may have noticed a custom weapon called the Friendly Blade equipped on our girl here. This is a weapon I am very excited to share on MagicItemMonday, as it's a weapon that truly affects Ihtla and her behaviors towards her job.
