This Wizard is a strange case to say the least, although by all normal and even magical standards he is half way through his twenty's, he has lived the same day in CandleKeep for over 800 years, over and over and over again.

Background - Monks and Wizards alike seek out the chance to become an Avowed, to follow the teachings of the Keeper of Tomes, Ulraunt, and his assistant, the First Reader, Tethtoril.
Growing up in the library, Jude knew books, and was a passionate reader. His duties were to appraise books for CandleKeep, which for any who wish to use the library must first make a donation of a valuable book to the fortress to gain access to its contents.
Jude's life truly began, and ended, on the same fateful day. For reasons unknown to him, he began to relive the same day, appraising the same book from the same young woman, everyday, for approximately 800 years.
No matter how he tried to escape, tried to break the circle, he would wake up in his bed again, and everything was starting over. Running away, horrid deeds that broke his sanity, thousands of days paid in penance from guilt, death... He recalls everything, but nothing broke the cycle. As a result, his mind left him, or at least part of it.
Somehow, through means up for any to decide, he woke up in present day, but is not completely sure if it's the "real" world or not. He is disconnected from most things, and people, not really caring if any live or die, "They will just come back tomorrow". In actuality, there is very little that Jude cares about; drink, physical pleasures, very little excites him, save for finding the reason why he was put through centuries of repeating the same day. This is his drive, and it is why he quests, to find the answer. He explorers every temple of Azuth in thinking the god he followed ages ago is the reason for his state of Madness.
