Pavana Vynsa'r - Last Breath

Pavana is an Air Genasi that started an incredibly successful career at ending the lives of others. It's not that she is vengeful or bloodthirsty, she actually came across her abilities quite accidentally. That was the beginning, she now has over a dozen confirmed kills in heavily guarded locations, specializing in political assassinations.

Background - The Vynsa'r name is one with renowned and demands respect in the world of the trade of rare antiquities. Pavana's family was known for having vast wealth, being decedents of a prosperous and power Djinn, but she never felt like it was worthy of being a target for kidnap.

She was mistaken: a rival family had made poor deals and lost most of their wealth. Thugs from a lowlife hole-in-the-wall that often bragged about being Zhentarim where hired by the Arrilin family to snatch Pavana and demand ransom for her return.

They broke into her lavish home, and thought it wise to seek out some of the fabled treasure that's rumored to be under the estate. Their greed is what got the thugs discovered as the young Genasi girl heard them attempting to break open a locked door. She grabbed a fire poker and bashed one over the head, knocking him unconscious. The other thug tried to make a grab for her. There was a struggle, but thankfully her Genasi heritage gave her the means to trick the thug, faking unconsciousness and getting the jump on him as he checked for breath.

When the rest of her family arrived home, they discovered the two thugs restrained in the hall, Pavana was proudly lording over them as she praised her own accomplishment at only 15 years old. City guard came and collected the thugs, but this ordeal brought a lot of attention to the Vynsa'r family... Most note worthy attention was from the Zhentarim, who came to her with a most interesting propitiation. The thugs weren't Zhentarim, as were on the list to be taught a lesson for using their name, Pavana did them a favor by catching them, and was offered a spot in the Zhen Ranks.

She accepted, and the rest of her life has been spent cutting ties from her family to protect them (faking one's own death is easy with Zhentarim help), and training. She is now an arrogant, confident, efficient agent for a power dark faction in Faerun. Training as been intense, but her heritage and unpredictable nature has made her a dangerous enemy.
