Balthu'el's Horn

Balthu'el was a Shadow demon under the leadership of a dominating Pit Fiend in the 3rd layer of the Abyss. Balthu'el was slain ages ago, but practitioners of dark magics were able to harness and infused its remains with dark arcane energy. As a DM, you can choose how many different peices of the Shadow Demon have dark powers within them, and how many your characters may come across.

This is an item that I wanted to have on the table because more often than not, when you think of Clerics or even Wizards, the picture of wands or holy symbols dominate the image in the mind. Which means if you have an evil Cleric (just as an example), a lot of the "Holy Relics" don't fit a Death Cleric or Necromancy Wizard. Hence why Balthu'el's Horn is an exciting addition to a mid-level campaign!

The story that can surround this item is truly limitless. Perhaps there is an evil influence of your dark caster. Or maybe your holy characters are trying to destroy this item, but traditional means of destroying items isn't working. Like always, it's up to you and your players to make this item truly your own!
