Tempest Fang

The history that orbits this near legendary item is clouded in question and uncertainty. It is ornately carved and decorated, but the blade itself gives off a strange, almost electric energy and it's shape in similar to that of a long, slender tooth.

Although the origin of the weapon is largely unknown (Complete DMs discretion! If you have this in your game and a player uses the Legend Lore spell, you have free reign!), it's power is undeniably. Perhaps it was a gift from an Elder Tempest itself for calming a storm that wasn't suppose to be, or vice versa, gathering the elements needed to conjure one.

Perhaps you have gone even a step further and the weapon is a gift from a Patron that only your Warlock with the Blade Pact understands. Or even still, this weapon is being used to reek havoc on a major trade route. Pushing over wagons and carts with ease, lighting striking down any merchant not willing to give their most valuable items for passage.

Or worst of all, a character mentor tried to summon the Tempest Fang from another plane, succeeded, but unleashed something dark and evil onto your plane that took their life and the Glaive and are now out in world.
