Gelatinous Shield

The Gelatinous Shield is a remarkable item that has no discovered history or how it even came to be, but one thing is certain, it's incredibly useful!

The shield, as told in the description, adheres to the arm of it's wielder with it's semi-solid form. It's jelly like form absorbs standard, non-magical damage from attacks.

This protective item does a lot of work for what it is, a +4 total to AC is a big deal even at high levels, and on a theatrical standpoint, a gooey shield that absorbs attacks is kind of a fun dynamic to describe at the table. Although there may not be a lot to explain with this item, it's a pretty fun one to me!

An idea you could get away with as a DM is have the shield stretch outward and form a wall for a party to hide behind! A neat idea, but not one I wanted to add to the item straight away. Regardless, this item is now in your hands! Have fun!
